§02 · HOW WE WORK

Our Process

The same proven sequence on every job — because shortcuts lead to callbacks and bigger problems.

DAY 1
01

Professional Inspection

Thorough visual inspection, moisture mapping, and when indicated, air quality testing and surface sampling to find all mold — including hidden colonies.

DAYS 1–2
02

Containment

Physical barriers and negative air pressure systems prevent mold spores from spreading to unaffected areas during remediation.

DAYS 2–5
03

Mold Removal & Treatment

Contaminated materials are removed and disposed of. HEPA air scrubbers run continuously. Remaining surfaces are treated with antimicrobial solutions.

DAYS 2–5
04

Moisture Source Fix

Mold always returns if moisture isn't resolved. We identify and fix the underlying issue — hidden leaks, poor ventilation, residual water damage.

DAYS 5–10+
05

Verification & Restore

Post-remediation moisture verification and, when appropriate, air quality testing. Then drywall, paint, and flooring are repaired and replaced.

§04 · FAQ

Common Questions

Answers about our process, timelines, insurance coverage, and what to expect.

It can be. While some molds are relatively harmless, others — including certain species of Aspergillus and Stachybotrys (black mold) — can cause respiratory issues and health effects with prolonged exposure. The safest approach is professional assessment and removal.
For very small areas (under 10 sq ft) on non-porous surfaces, DIY cleaning may be adequate. However, if mold is in walls, ceilings, HVAC systems, or large areas, professional remediation is strongly recommended — improper handling can spread spores throughout the property.
A typical residential project takes 3–7 days, depending on the extent of contamination. Larger projects requiring significant material removal and reconstruction may take longer.
Not if the moisture source is properly addressed. Our process includes identifying and resolving the underlying moisture problem — without that step, mold will return regardless of how thoroughly it's cleaned.
Coverage varies by policy and cause. Mold resulting from a covered water damage event (like a burst pipe) is often covered. Mold from long-term neglect or lack of maintenance typically is not. We help document the cause and coordinate with your insurer.
