§02 · HOW WE WORK

Our Process

The same proven sequence on every job — because shortcuts lead to callbacks and bigger problems.

BEFORE TREATMENT
01

Source Identification

We identify the odor source and ensure the underlying problem — water damage, mold, fire residue — has been fully mitigated. Deodorization only works after the cause is addressed.

DAY 1
02

Surface Cleaning

Deep cleaning of all affected surfaces removes residual contamination. This includes washing walls, cleaning HVAC ducts, and removing porous materials absorbed beyond recovery.

DAYS 1–3
03

Industrial Treatment

Thermal fogging, ozone generation, or hydroxyl generators — the right method selected for your specific odor type and property circumstances.

POST-TREATMENT
04

Verification

Sensory evaluation and, when appropriate, air quality testing confirm full odor elimination. We retreat if any odor persists.

§04 · FAQ

Common Questions

Answers about our process, timelines, insurance coverage, and what to expect.

Consumer products work on surface-level contamination. Odor molecules from smoke, mold, and sewage penetrate deep into porous materials — behind drywall, inside insulation, in carpet padding, and throughout HVAC systems. Industrial treatment reaches where sprays can't.
Ozone treatment is highly effective but requires the space to be unoccupied during treatment and for a period afterward. Hydroxyl generators are an occupied-safe alternative we use when properties cannot be vacated. We select the right method for your situation.
Most residential treatments take 1–3 days, depending on severity and odor type. Severe smoke damage or large properties may require multiple treatment cycles.
Not if the source has been properly addressed. Our process includes both odor treatment and source verification. If the underlying damage has been fully mitigated, the odor will not return.
